QVGA

Both days of the Carnival were rain affected. The late field on Tuesday fared the worst, with around 30 mls dumped on them in a very short space of time. Greens quickly covered in water and the low areas of the course became lakes. The 36 hole events were cancelled and results from Monday and Tuesday morning used to determine prizes. 10 random draws using the Tues second field timesheet was the only recourse for the 88 players called off the course to have a share in the daily prizes.

Despite the rain, the mood of the players was surprisingly upbeat, and a great number came back to enjoy the Presentations. The Result list is below. Any winners who weren’t at Presentations will receive their prizes at the next Vets game.
